Cricut Expression vs Silhouette Cameo

I know I have been slacking on the blog posts lately. I promise there is A LOT that I can't wait to share with all of you! We have been crafting, cooking and building up a storm! For some reason it takes me FOREVER to load pictures onto the blog so I do a few a day (the wedding posts to come will have lots and lots of pictures to share). Until then I do have a question for those of you that love to craft.....

Is the Silhouette Cameo better than the Cricut Expression? I currently own the Cricut (got up at 3:00am to get it on a Black Friday sale a few years back). I have a good amount of cartridges and tools that I have collected since then and I really do like the machine. We used it to cut a lot of things that we DIY'd for our wedding in November, but I want the ability to cut using my computer and to make my own designs. I have thought about selling my Cricut and all of the cartridges and save up to get the Silhouette. I know that there is a way to connect the Cricut to the computer though, I just dont know if it's as good? I am still doing some research and I know there are lots of things online that discuss both of these machines. It just gets a little overwhelming at times looking at all of it so I thought maybe seeing what some of you think might help?

So, what are your thoughts? Should I make the switch? Is there another cutting maching out there to consider that I don't know about? What projects have you been able to make with them (I would LOVE to see them)?
